Sitsit is a centuries old academic table party tradition, which came to Finland from Germany via Estonia and Sweden. Originally sitsit was a tradition of university students. It has slowly become a part of the student culture of the universities of applied sciences. Trombi's sitsit are themed. The themes vary all the way from amazingly fast speed-themes to slow and atmospheric summer wedding -themes.
Together with UIO, Trombi organizes a party to celebrate Valentine's Day. You are guaranteed to have fun and the dance floor to be filled with a romantic atmosphere. There will also be an amazing performer on the stage during the night!
A barbeque is organised both in the spring and fall right outside Myyrmäki campus. This event is a great way to start the wait for summer or christmas. In the best case scenario the participants may enjoy barbequing in warm sunshine.
